Tagging

Blogger doesn't have a tagging function - although the new Blogger (still in beta) does have a tagging function and I can't wait until they allow those of us publishing via FTP to a non-BlogSpot server to switch to the new improved Blogger!!

I used to use blogspirit - really good system with tags, email access everything. They only downside was that it isn't integrated with Flickr, and they've started CHARGING!!!

Anyway, I really miss tags...

End of the weekend...

This post is definitely dedicated to my favourite handball team :-) you know who you are!!! Fantastic game today by the local Aarhus team - wow, wow, wow. My heartrate doubled, my voice is hoarse, my hands ache from all the clapping. They played against the best team in DK and although they didn't win, in my humble opinion, they definitely deserved to.

(For those of you that don't know what handball is - yes, I didn't know what it was until 7-8 years ago - read about it HERE.)

After the game, we drove out to Kasper's Dad and had lovely paella - yum. Almost as good as my Dad's!

Perhaps I've been bad at sticking to my deadlines, or I've been lazy, or I've just wanted to enjoy the unusually sunny and warm autumn weather - but tonight I HAVE to work :-( Deadline tomorrow....

We're moving to Copenhagen

Well, well...my blog premiere. Carmen is forcing me to use this :-) Anyway, I hope you will all come back now and again to read about what goes on in our lives.

In August I started my new job in Copenhagen. I now do strategic business development for a Danish satelite broadcasting company called Viasat www.viasat.dk.

That means big changes are coming up. We have put our wonderful flat in the centre of Aarhus for sale - a big and difficult decision for us. You can see it here: http://www.nybolig.dk/PrivatBolig.jsp?sagsnr=L4082&forretningsnr=250092. Now we just can't wait to get it sold, because we have already found our dreamhouse in Copenhagen. We will post photos if noone ends up buying it before us. So, if you know anyone looking for a flat in Aarhus, you know what to do... :-)

Anyway, I am enjoying the change having lived most of my life in Aarhus. The only thing is that Carmen will only follow when our flat is sold, and we have a bigger place than my one-room flat in Copenhagen (which I am currently sharing with my sister who broke up with her boyfriend and moved in with me 2 weeks after I arrived).

For now I travel up and down each weekend so let me know when you travel the same distance. Then we can transform some Friday or Sunday travel time to friend time.

Love
Kasper

Birthday wishes

It's Martin's birthday! Visit his site HERE.

linking blogger and web10

So finally I got our blogger account linked to www.ckhyttel.dk I had some problems but I gave up in disgust last night and sent an email to Web10's support. This morning there was a very helpful reply and now everything seems to be working :-)

Yesterday I was at a conference called "Knock Knock". Although really interesting, a lot of it was mostly aimed at tv and newspapers, but there was a little bit that was relevant - the part about wikis and using them in company's instead of static "old fashioned" intranets - might remind some of you of all my bla-bla a couple of months ago when I submitted my thesis :-) For those of you that read Danish - here's the link: http://www.innovationlab.dk/sw17639.asp

I'm working from home today - need to finish a report on my trip to Tanzania. So I'll leave you with these beautiful photos of Bongoyo island and Zanzibar...

Another change...

So this is my third change to our website this year... Well, I've been using weblogs since 2003 (mostly as part of my Master's) and decided finally that our website should be a weblog. I loved working with Dreamweaver, but it's often so time consuming!! A weblog is definitely quicker - and now you have a chance to leave your comments!

Love Carmen
PS. Our old site still exists: http://oldsite.ckhyttel.dk
